Our warranty, in plain words.
90 days or 1,500 miles on our workmanship, whichever comes first. Parts carry the maker's warranty.
What it covers
- Our workmanship on most services, for 90 days or 1,500 miles after we finish, whichever comes first. If something goes wrong because of our work, we repair it or redo it at no charge.
- Parts we supply carry the warranty from the maker or supplier. We handle the claim with them. Labor to swap a failed part may be charged.
Performance work
Racing, off-road use, and anything else that puts extra stress on the car aren't covered. Tuning and dyno work have their own terms, because pushing an engine to its limit always carries some risk. Our terms of service spell them out.
What it doesn't cover
- Work done with parts you bring in
- Damage from misuse, neglect, or an accident, like running low on fluids or driving with a warning light on
- A car someone else has worked on or changed after we finished
- Loss of use, lost time, or other costs that follow from a failure
- A new owner: the warranty stays with you, not the car
- Repairs done at another shop, for example after a breakdown out of town
How to use it
Call us first. Tell us what the car is doing and when we did the work. We'll look at the car to find the cause, and if it's covered, we fix it. Ask us about coverage before the work starts if you're not sure.
