When you need performance exhaust installation
An exhaust upgrade makes sense when you want more sound, when a turbo or engine build needs more flow, or when the old system is rusted out. Road salt from Utah winters is hard on pipes and hangers. Watch for these signs of a problem:
- Louder than usual, most of all on a cold start
- A rattle underneath at idle or over bumps

Tell us what you want to hear: a little more growl, loud and proud, or quiet on the freeway with some bark when you step on it. The muffler and resonator choices decide the sound. They also decide drone, the steady hum that gets old fast on an I-15 commute. We build for the sound you want without the drone.
A bolt-on system is made for the average car. A custom system is built on your car, around your suspension and any other parts, so it clears everything and hangs right. We bend and weld it in our own shop.
On most cars without a turbo, a new exhaust is mostly about sound, with a small power gain. On turbo cars, the downpipe is where the real gains are, and it usually needs dyno tuning to go with it. We tell you which one you're buying.

How much does a custom exhaust cost?
It depends on the car, the parts, and how much pipe we build. You get the whole price in writing before we start.
Will a loud exhaust get me a ticket in Utah?
Utah requires a working muffler and doesn't allow excessive or unusual noise. We help you pick a setup with character that stays on the right side of that line.
Do I need a tune after a new exhaust?
Usually not for a cat-back. Usually yes for a downpipe on a turbo car. We tell you before you buy.
Can you fix just a leak or a broken hanger?
Yes. We fix leaks, broken hangers, and other small exhaust problems in our shop.
Is an exhaust leak dangerous?
It can be. A leak can let carbon monoxide into the cabin. If you smell exhaust inside the car, get it checked soon.
