How it works: we plan the build with you, install and tune it on our dyno, and you leave with the dyno sheet.
Your track day is on the calendar. Or you've done a few, and the car came home with a new clunk or a soft brake pedal. The track finds every loose part fast.
Turbo Lab does race preparation in Orem with our nut and bolt service. We go through the whole suspension and torque every nut and bolt, so nothing works loose at speed.

When you need race preparation
A street car is built for short trips and easy stops. The track asks for full throttle and hard braking, lap after lap. Bolts that feel fine on I-15 can back out after a few hard sessions. Book race prep before your first event, and again when the car starts to feel loose.
- A new clunk or rattle after a track day
- The car feels loose or wanders in corners
- Brakes fade or the pedal goes soft after a few laps
- You installed new suspension parts yourself
- It's been a season since anyone checked it
Our nut and bolt service
We put the car on the lift and go through the entire suspension system. Every nut and bolt gets torqued to spec, and we look for worn bushings, bad ball joints, and anything cracked or leaking. If something needs fixing, we call you with the price first.
While it's here, we can also do the jobs a track car needs most. That means brake work, fluid services, suspension repair, and dyno tuning on our AWD Dynojet. Brakes, fluids, and most suspension jobs are often done the same day. Alignments are sent to a shop we trust.
We don't build roll cages or install race safety gear like seats, harnesses, or fire systems.
Race preparation cost in Orem
The price depends on your car and what we find. You get a written quote for the labor and parts before any repairs, and no work starts until you say yes.
Checked by a shop that tunes and fixes cars
We fix, fabricate, and tune in one shop, with our own AWD Dynojet on site. Our three techs have about 35 to 40 years of experience between them, and we've been on Center Street since 1999.

Race preparation questions
What is a nut and bolt service?
We go through the whole suspension system and torque every nut and bolt to spec. We also look for worn or broken parts while we're there.
What does my car need for its first track day?
Most track days want good brake pads, fresh brake fluid, good tires, no leaks, and a helmet. Some groups have more rules, so check the rules for your event.
Why do my brakes fade on the track?
Hard stops lap after lap make a lot of heat. Street pads and old fluid can't take it, so the pedal goes soft. Track pads and fresh high-temp fluid fix most of it.
Do you build roll cages or install safety gear?
No. We don't build cages or install seats, harnesses, or fire systems. We focus on the suspension, brakes, fluids, and tune.
Do you do alignments and corner balancing?
We send alignments out to a shop we trust. We don't offer corner balancing.
Got a track day coming up?
Call and tell us the car and the event. We'll check it nut by nut before you load up.
