Clutch Replacement
We start by finding the real problem. Sometimes it's the clutch disc. Sometimes it's the hydraulics, like the master or slave cylinder, and the clutch itself is fine. That's a cheaper clutch repair, and we'll tell you if that's all it needs.
When the clutch is worn out, we replace the disc, pressure plate, and release bearing together. We usually replace the flywheel too. If yours is in good shape, resurfacing it can be an option, and we talk it through with you. While the transmission is out, we also look at the rear main seal, since a leak there can ruin a new clutch.
