FAQ's

Can you tune the software I already purchased for my vehicle?
Yes! We have well rounded experience in nearly all tuner software.AEM, AEM Infinity, HP Tuner, Motec, Hondata, Predator, Diablo, Cobb Access Port, Autotronic, Haltec and more.
At Turbo Lab we are not beholden to a single brand of vehicle thus we have tuned a very wide range of car models and have written numerous tunes for each.We are confident in every single vehicle we bring in our shop.If for some reason there is a car model we haven’t tuned or software we are not familiar with we are completely upfront with our customers.
In short, yes.We have certified tuners to ensure proper and thorough tune of your vehicle. We will review your expectations for your tune whether it’s to have high reliability with good power or the highest horsepower possible. We also are not in the business of high volume quick turn around tunes. We will spend as much time as it takes to make sure your tune is right.Mail order tunes are understandably growing in popularity but are still not exactly tailored to your vehicle so we take the extra time to make each tune vehicle specific.

The better question is why are other shops tunes so cheap? The old saying rings true with tuning too, you get what you pay for!

Our pricing is based to fulfill the following criteria:

  • Certified tuners
  • As long as it takes to make sure the tune is right
  • Warranty our tunes
  • Better Service
  • We always tune on the dyno, no street tunes (this offers a full range of parameters so nothing gets left out)
  • Brand new dynamometer facility plus your choice of a road force 2wd dyno or dual eddy current 4wd dyno both on premisis!
The first benefit of mechanically linked front and rear wheels is the protection of center differentials and transfer cases. Unlike unlinked dyno rollers all four wheels spin at exactly the same rate eliminating the potential for drivetrain damage. Some vehicles won’t run properly without a linked dyno due to the inability to turn off factory traction or abs control which is the second large benefit. The final point to mention is that no lights will be triggered alerting the factory ecu of improper performance or wheel slippage (also alerting anyone monitoring the factory ecu for tampering or abuse). The benefits to those with high end vehicles not wishing to void their warranty should be obvious.
There are many benefits to an in-ground dyno over an above ground dyno the main one being it offers easy drive in of your vehicle with essentially no fear of excess movement and better access to retaining straps and retention points. Also offers much better viewing for recording or sound streams.
Yes! Each time you modify your vehicle after it has been tuned, it will need to be re-tuned.
We try to give our tuning customers first priority and can often times schedule you the same day or within a few days of calling.
